I want to say thank you to all of the wonderful people who were a part of LaBargePhoto in 2011. I am truly fortunate to have such fantastic friends, teammates, and colleagues. Whether we met only for a few minutes or saw a lot of each other over the year, thank you so much for your time and support, and I look forward to seeing more of you all in the new year.

I recently started a new tumblr site called Year Four, on which I am posting a new photo every day, as well as the occasional “old” photo shot on the same day 3 years ago. Please check it out.

I got to work with actress Yin Chang, from the upcoming Disney movie Prom, on this shoot for Canada’s newest teen magazine, Hardly. Shot a couple of months ago in and around Echo Park, and styled by the fabulous Krissie Torgerson, we enjoyed some beautiful weather after all the late-winter rain.

Once again, it’s Earth Day, and for the second year I’m happy to have contributed to the new RRR zine RRR.003. Huge thanks to Scott Massey for inviting me to be a part of this fantastic project. Sadly, it sounds like this issue may be the last. Be sure to check it out at www.RRRproject.com, consider a donation to the Japanese Red Cross (info provided on the RRR site), and watch for the limited edition print version to follow this summer.

I got to shoot the national fashion feature for the latest issue of 944 last month, and it was a blast! We shot at the fabulous Milk Studios, and my makeup artist Liza Zaretsky and Hair Stylist Sienree Du were amazing. It’s so great to work with such a talented team. Naturally, Mia provided the playlist for the day. Here’s the opening spread and a couple of images that didn’t make the cut, but that I liked a lot:

I am thrilled to be joining more than 200 photographers in Wall Space Gallery’s benefit for Japan. The program, Life Support Japan, is selling limited edition prints at a very affordable price and donating 100% of the proceeds to Direct Relief and Habitat for Humanity Japan.
