THE GETTY
We spent another evening at the Getty Museum yesterday. It never gets old. There’s an incredible exhibit of photography by Paul Outerbridge, including pre-Kodachrome color images with more saturation than I’ve ever seen in photos from that era (the 1930′s). To put it into perspective, I realized that many of the images were created before the Wizard of Oz, yet they looked like they were from the ’50s. They show a couple of these images on the Getty website, but they look nothing like I remember so I’m not posting them here. Instead, here’s a shot of Steve on the tram as we rode up the hill:
